High concentration of triamcinolone. Will this hair grow back? (Photo)

Hair started gradually thinning after a stressful event. Had kenalog injections x2. After second round, I noticed small circles of hair loss around the injection sights and also some atrophy. Will this hair grow back? Are the hair follicles damaged permanently?

Kenalog can cause hair loss in rare cases. It’s temporary. My concern with the photos here is that a diagnosis is being missed. I can’t say for sure as the photos are blurry but there is more redness and folliculitis here in these photos than we typically see in alopecia areata. If things don...

You may have to keep using minoxidil which is a medication whose effects is not permanent. It's effects last around 6 months.
