Is it possible to do a monovision treatment with Visian ICL or can a multifocal lens be inplanted?

I am 57 and have been told my eyes are in great shape for my age. I currently wear a -7.0 Toric lens in my right eye for far vision and a -5.5 in my left eye for near vision. It is a monovision treatment my optometrist has worked out for my combination myopia and presyopia. It works great.

Yes-ICLs can be set for monovision. But at 57 my preference would be a Refractive Lens Exchange. This procedure stabilizes vision, allows the implantation of a Toric IOL, and means cataract surgery won't be needed in the future. If your natural lenses are very clear and free of any opacity (unlikely at 57) then I'd also consider LASIK.

Your ICL surgery can be done in a way to duplicate your current contact system. Alternatively, you might be a candidate for the newly FDA approved KAMRA corneal inlay which can be added after your ICL implants and will allow full corrected vision at distance intermediate and near visual range.
