There are surgical permanent solutions to gummy smile, but there can also be some permanent complications that are difficult to correct. There are ways to inject neuromodulators such as Daxxify or Botox so that the effect will last 6 months. If I will you I would choose 2 injections a year over a complicated major surgery that may or may not help you. As you get older you will likely "outgrow" your gummy smile.
