Endermologie is a deep massage therapy done with vacuum suction so that the skin and subcutaneous tissue (dermis and some fat) is kneaded into a rolling device while negative pressure holds the skin in the rollers. It may reduce bulk slightly but temporarily. It may smoothen uneven contour with cellulite, but again, it is a temporary effect. Most patients undergo Endermologie treatment two or three times per week for a month, and then may continue with once per month, or less, to maintain their result.
Endermologie is a mechanically assisted lymphatic massage treatment marketed as a way to reduce cellulite. In reality is does not reduce cellulite, but merely temporarily hides it with local tissue swelling. You need to keep doing treatments for the effect to persist. However, we find great utility for it in postoperative body contouring patients- it greatly reduces the inevitable swelling after liposuction procedures. We include treatments in all of our patients undergoing body contouring procedures- they love it and many come back for extra treatments.I hope this helps
Don't waste your money on endermologie. It's a bogus treatment that deals with kneading skin between two rollers using suction. It doesn't make sense and doesn't work.
Endermologie is a painless and nonivasive mechanical massage that stimulates the reactivation of fat release and production of collagen and elastin. With a series of at least 10-14 weekly treatments Endermologie can slim fat cells, smooth cellulite, firm the skin and sculpt your figure.Unfortunately, the benefits seem to be temporary, so while most patients are pleased with the improvement achieved, a maintenance program will be necessary.
