Okay to do laser hair removal on my back after light Glycolic Peel?

I'm leaving the country for vacation. I have medium toned asian skin...very thick skin too. I did a light glycol peel and now have light flaking. There is not redness or sensitivity. Would it be okay to do laser hair removal 3-4 days after the back peel?

Good afternoon and thank you for your question! I would recommend waiting at least two weeks after any sort of chemical peel to resume laser hair removal treatments. I would not recommend performing a laser hair removal the same week as a chemical peel, especially on asian skin. If you have a more exuberant inflammatory response, you may end up with uneven pigmentation or darker areas. I recommend waiting one week, ideally two between treatments. Hope this helps!Johnson C.
