Okay to do laser hair removal on my back after light Glycolic Peel?

I'm leaving the country for vacation. I have medium toned asian skin...very thick skin too. I did a light glycol peel and now have light flaking. There is not redness or sensitivity. Would it be okay to do laser hair removal 3-4 days after the back peel?

Good afternoon and thank you for your question! I would recommend waiting at least two weeks after any sort of chemical peel to resume laser hair removal treatments. I would not recommend performing a laser hair removal the same week as a chemical peel, especially on asian skin. If you have a more exuberant inflammatory response, you may end up with uneven pigmentation or darker areas. I recommend waiting one week, ideally two between treatments. Hope this helps!Johnson C. The use of exfoliants (such as Glycolic Acid and Renova) should be stopped at least one week before laser hair removal.
