What is this stuff inside my wisdom tooth socket? 2 days post op (photo)

I had my bottom left wisdom tooth out 2 days ago and ever since, I've had this stuff building up... I've heard it could be scar tissue but I'm scared it's infection. I have a busy week coming up and no time to be ill or particularly visit dentists! Thanks in advance x
