Would getting cheek or temple filler for volume loss help improve under eye puffiness?

I have always been conscious about my under eye area. I have bags/ creases that are more pronounced when I am tired. Now at 46 years old, they are worse than ever. I don’t think I am ready for surgery and I also don’t think that tear trough filler would help. Does getting cheek or temple filler for volume loss, ever have a positive effect on that area?

The short answer is yes, cheek filler often has a positive effect on the tear trough area. If you have a thin "athletic face", then getting fillers in your temples and cheeks is a good place to start. Another great option for you if you have a thin face is Sculptra, which is not a true filler but rather a biostimulant that is injected and stimulates your body to create its own collagen.

The eye area needs significant combinations to get improvement. Lasers like erbium, co2, halo, profractional/contour, or Fraxel can all be used to build collagen long term. Plasma pen is a newer less invasive option but will take many treatments and require proper skincare. Plasma Pen is focused electrical plasma energy to tighten skin, producing small columns of energy just above the skin, allowing the skin to tighten to help improve wrinkles. This area will have 3-5 days of small “dots” that will then scab and peel, then the skin will tighter and brighter after.
