Thank you for your question. The cost in Houston varies, but through my office, is $7200, which includes the initial consult, placement of all 3 balloons, removal and nutritional counseling. 

In Los Angeles, the rate for the Obalon procedure varies between $7,000-$9,000. This includes a free consultation, all balloon placements (there are 3), nutritional counseling during treatment (6 months) and all follow ups.

Our practice,Plastic Surgery Specialists, has been placing the balloons since May of this year, and we have seen great success in many patients thus far. It is a great option for our patients who are considering body contour surgery but would be better served to be at an optimal weight first. I feel assisting patients in this regard should be a part of every aesthetic practice. In the Northern California area the cost for Obalon ranges from $8-10,000 depending on incentives offered by the company or individual practices.
