I know that there is a minimum wait time between laser tattoo removal sessions that are about 4-6 weeks usually. However, I wanted to know if I could wait longer, such as 3-6 months between laser tattoo sessions. Would this effect my results any?

Older laser technology can cause some scarring. You are a great candidate for Picosure laser tattoo removal. Not only is this laser much more effective for tattoo removal, (ie 6 treatments, vs 20), it often improves scars also.
If the correct settings and laser are used there should not be any scaring. You would be a great candidate for the Alex Trivantage laser. This laser is the only one on the market that can target colors. The multiple wave lengths can target all the colors in the tattoo with 4-6 sessions. ...
Yes, all or part of your new tattoo can be removed. When you treat the new tattoo, the original black tattoo underneath will also be removed. The new PicoSure laser works well on blue ink. PicoSure generally takes about 4 treatments spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
