Is Sliding Genioplasty enough for a double chin?

An excessive soft tissue chin pad and a bony chin prominence can be effectively reduced by a submental chin reduction procedure.

Those are all symptoms that sound more consistent with scar contracture/scar tissue into the bony stepoff than nerve damage. Knowing how much your chin was advanced would be helpful information also.
