Dental bone graft. What is this white stuff? (Photo)

I have ridge preservation around 6 weeks. Last 4 days I still see some white stuff around. Today I noticed just little piece still there. What is the white stuff? Is it piece of bone graft? Is it healing normal? Please help and advice. Thanks

The white particles are almost certainly the bone graft material. As for healing you won't really know how well it healed until the implant is placed. If it didn't heal correctly, the graft will not have been replaced by your own real bone and instead the surgeon will find white sand and have to repeat the graft.
