Is it possible to get a yeast infection from laser hair removal?

Question

When I get laser treatments for my vagina section it’s normal but once I get my period and the day when I finish I get a yeast infection and it’s a really bad pain where it doesn’t go for a week and now I’ve had mine for almost a week and two days. Do you think the problem is the laser or maybe I’m allergic to the pads?

I suggest you see your OB/gyn.  A yeast infection is not caused by Laser Hair Removal and if you are getting them after your periods it is because you may be reacting to the tampon or pads you are using.  I would also suggest getting tested for Candida which is a yeast overgrowth of the body.  Frequent yeast infections is a sign of this.  If you test positive you will need to be on a strict protocol for 3 months consisting of a prescriptions, special supplements and a special diet to rid your body of this type of yeast.
