I got braces to bring down an impacted canine. When I went into this my teeth were straight with a slight overbite on the right side. We had to make space for the canine to come down which shifted my other teeth. Long story short the tooth is now down but my teeth look like that. My midline is way off & the overbite has increased. Currently my ortho is trying to close 2 gaps that formed but my question is this..can all this be fixed without bottom braces? If so, what can i expect? Thank you!

Answer: Another Road to Finish Case. Crossbite and Narrow Maxilla
All orthodontic cases do not require tooth extractions, but if in your case extraction is needed, you can extract canine instead of premolar, which will save a healthy premolar. Anatomy is different, but you can save one healthy tooth [premolar] instead of RCT treated compromised [canine] tooth.
You have anterior crossbite and most likely you will need both orthodontics and corrective jaw surgery to address this issue properly. As for whether to choose metal or ceramic braces, this decision should not affect the final result.
