Venous Lake On Lip, Could You Please Advise Me What I Should Do Next To Try To Remove It?

I am a 47 year old woman. I have had quite a large Venous Lake on my lip for about 10 years, caused by trauma. I have had surgery twice on my lip to try to remove it. It came back almost straight away after the surgery. I now have some texture change on my lip due to the surgery and the venous lake got a bit bigger after surgery. Could you please advise me what I should do next to try to remove it. I live in the UK.

My favorite treatment for venous lakes on the lip is a 1064 nm vascular laser.  Many lasers can work but you need to be sure that the doctor is experienced and knowledgeable.  Go see your dermatologist and if they don't use lasers, they can refer you to someone who does.   You also want them to confirm the diagnosis of venous lake as it would be unusual for one to return if it was excised completely.
