I'm a 31 year old, non-smoking female. Developed nasolabial folds very swiftly after turning 30. Have been about 3 stone oveweight since the age of 18 and I feel like the excess facial weight has finally taken a toll on the elasticity and integrity of my skin. Please advise on whether a thread lift or fillers, a combo of both or any other treatment such as botox or ultrasound would be a suitable, long-term solution to eradicate the nasolabial folds.

Lets first of all put something straight:
Fillers help with volume loss, giving back part of the lost facial shape, thus excellent for face sculpting/ nasolabila folds.
Thread lift is amazing on giving back firmness on sagging skin which in many cases results from loss volume...
I would recommend speaking with your provider to best answer your questions but at my office we typically tell patients to come back once a year to have a touch up or a thread or two added.
I would recommend waiting 48-72 hours after swelling has gone down to ensure all of the swelling has gone away. I would still recommend speaking with your provider to find out what he/she would recommend.
