Could I fix my gummy smile without surgery? (Photo)

Hello, my name is Eve. I had not noticed till recently how much my gums show when I smile, I am now very self consious when I smile. I have braces at the moment to fix my overbite, they will be off soon. Would veneers be a non surgical way to fix my gummy smile or is surgery the only option? I will attach a photo so you can see my teeth. Any suggestions are appreciated.
