I am 28years old and would like to enhance my skin appearance before my wedding. I am interested in mesotherapy for skin rejuvenation and reduction of occasional dark spots from sun damage. Clinics I consulted use very different products including rrs ha whitening; juvaderm volite; Teosyal redensity; Filorga nctf; Xela rederm. Rage costs vary wildly, how do I know which one to choose from please? All look like HA plus some vitamin, why do the cost vary so much?
Answer: Many options Hi there, There indeed many options when it comes to improving skin tone and texture. It really depends on what you specifically want treated as to which product you use. Costs vary from practitioner to practitioner and companies set there own price points too, higher price does not necessarily indicate a better product for your condition. Practitioners will typically recommend a treatment they have found most effective but bearing in mind, it is not always possible to train in every product, it can be difficult to compare across all the available ranges. For an idea: The HA based products such as volite and redensity are mainly useful for hydrating the skin but will do little to improve sun damage. RRS will likely improve the tone of the skin but not improve the texture a great deal. The Filorga cream is a topical agent and will again likely improve hydration but not improve any pigmentation. The rederm contains HA and succinc acid which should rehydrate and address any pigmentation. However this is not a product I use in practice so I would not like to comment on its efficacy. In my experience, chemical peels and topical retinol are best at dealing with pigmentation whilst Profhilo (an injectable treatment that promotes collagen and elastin production) gives best efffect for general rejuvenation and hydration. Apologies for adding another possibility in but I hope his gives you a better understanding of your options. All the best

Answer: Invest in a Cosmeceutical skincare range Many thanks for your question. There are a number of things to address here: The products you mention aren't all mesotherapy products. Some are fillers i.e. juvaderm. Not all of these products are FDA approved so I would be wary of that as they have yet to prove their safety and efficacy in independent clinical studies. You should also make sure you only see a medical professional i.e. Doctor to do your treatments. For skin appearance I think it might be better to consider some other options (sorry to add more into the mix!) Cosmeceuticals - exploring a range such as Dr Zein Obagis ZO Skin Health will greatly improve you dark spots and pigmentation issues. It will leave your skin rejuvenated and refreshed and functioning as it should. Profhilo - this will improve your skins hydration and appearance ClearLift - this is a laser treatment which has no downtime, but can greatly improve your skins overall appearance, texture and leaves it rejuvenated and refreshed. HydraFacials - this is without a doubt the best facial on the market! When used alongside a skincare range such as ZO Skin Health it creates fantastic results. It includes lymphatic drainage, cleansing and exfoliation, peel, extraction and hydration. It really is essential for refreshing your skin. That is a lot of information to process! But we hope it helps. Best of luck for your treatments and your upcoming wedding!
