Can traditional braces correct my misaligned midline and overbite? (photo)

Yes, traditional braces would do a nice job correcting the angulation of your upper front teeth and with much more predictability than using clear aligners. Traditional braces will also improve your overbite and correct your midline. You will probably have to slightly alter the shape of your two central incisors; otherwise when you move them into their proper angulation you will create a black triangle between the teeth due to the current shape of your two front teeth. You will also most likely need to do some slenderizing of some teeth on your upper right side in order to move your midline into its proper location.The time required to do all of this is dependent upon which type of bracket system your doctor chooses to use. In my office we would use a system called Fastbraces which is much faster than traditional brackets. The difference is in the shape of the bracket and the proprietary archwire that is square; rather than the traditional round archwire. Using Fastbraces, you should be able to finish in less than a year.Good luck!

Your smile looks nearly perfect, so any changes from braces will be minor and may not last very long.  It is one thing to rotate a tooth or move it 1+mm, but minor movements often are temporary.  You may find an orthodontist willing to "try".
