I am currently on 50mg spironolactone and 100mg minocycline. What are normal side effects?

I am on day 3 of these medications and on day 1 I felt a little dizzy and a little disoriented and had a slight headache, had to urine all day it seemed like but made sure to drink plenty of water. Day 2 I felt the same but at night my right arm started to feel numb and tingly. I am now on day 3 and I still feel a little out of the ordinary and my skin is starting to feel itchy. Are these symptoms normal? Will they subside? Do I continue to take the medication? Which med is causing these?

Dear patient, Obviously it is exceedingly difficult to answer your questions without knowing more about your past medical history, type of acne and other medications or concurrent conditions. Having said that I would consider discussing your side effects with your prescribing doctor right away. He or she may lower your Spirinolactone or discontinue it altogether. Dizziness can be a dangerous side effect and should be take seriously. Generally speaking I start only one medication at a time. It would be very unusual for you to need both an oral antibiotic and spirinolactone. I hope this was helpful.
