I’m 28 and feel like I’ve lost some volume in my cheeks over the years. Do you think I’d benefit from cheek filler, and if so, how much? Would 0.5ml make a noticeable difference? Also, what other procedures/surgeries would you get if you had my face? Thank you
Answer: Mid-Face Volume Loss Hello and thank you for your question! While dermal fillers can help with cheek volume in certain scnarios, 0.5ml is typically not enough to make a significant difference. To get the most out of your treatment, we would suggest Sculptra or Radiesse. Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating injectable that gradually restores lost volume and improves skin quality over time. It’s ideal for those who have generalized facial volume loss, as it works by encouraging your body to produce its own collagen. -Restores facial volume naturally over a few months. -Improves skin texture and firmness by thickening the skin. -Long-lasting results (2-3 years) with a series of treatments. -Because Sculptra works gradually, it’s a great option if you want subtle, natural-looking improvement over time. Radiesse is another excellent option for volume restoration, but it works differently than Sculptra. It provides an immediate volumizing effect while also stimulating collagen production over time. -Provides instant structural support and lift, especially in the midface and jawline. -Improves skin elasticity and firmness as it stimulates collagen. -Long-lasting results (12-18 months). If you're looking for gradual, long-lasting collagen stimulation, Sculptra is the better choice. If you want immediate volume with some collagen stimulation, Radiesse may be a better fit. In some cases, they can be combined strategically for the best results. Best of luck, I hope this helps! Answer: I think you look great. I think your face is very well balanced and I would not recommend that you do anything. I personally don't think you have anything to correct with filler.

Answer: You do not appear to have significant volume loss in your cheeks. It is uncommon to see significant facial aging and fat loss before the age of 30. You appear to have an attractive lower 2/3 of your face that is heart-shaped. I'm not sure if there's anything to do. Thank you for your question and I hope this is helpful. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Answer: Considering Cheek Fillers: How Much is Right for You? When considering cheek fillers to restore lost volume, it's important to have a personalized consultation with a qualified dermatologist or plastic surgeon. At 28, subtle changes can often make a significant difference, and fillers like hyaluronic acid can be an excellent option for restoring volume. Typically, starting with 0.5ml per cheek can provide a noticeable yet natural enhancement, but the exact amount depends on your facial structure, the degree of volume loss, and your aesthetic goals. Some patients may require more to achieve their desired look, while others may find this amount sufficient. In addition to fillers, other non-surgical treatments such as skin tightening procedures or laser treatments can complement the effects of fillers by improving skin texture and elasticity. It’s best to discuss your specific concerns and goals with a professional who can tailor recommendations to your needs. Remember, the key to achieving the best results is ensuring that treatments are customized to your unique facial anatomy and desired outcomes. Always seek advice from a board-certified professional to explore the most appropriate options for you.
