Can botox & other anti wrinkle treatments be used to make hair transplant implantation in frontalis muscles possible? (Photos)

I know implanting hairs into the frontalis muscle wrinkles is avoided, however as you can see my wrinkles are VERY close to my hairline. If I commit to a life time regimen of botox as well as other anti wrinkle treatments could we get away with implanting some hair there? Despite appearing norwood 3 in appearance I was actually born with this bad hairline, to whatever extent possible I would really like to fill in the corners, or at least the higher one.

Using Botox or other anti-wrinkle treatments can temporarily relax the frontalis muscle, which might reduce movement and potentially create a slightly more favorable environment for implantation. However, even with consistent Botox over time, there are a few important considerations:

Muscle activity returns between treatments. Botox typically lasts 3–4 months, so unless you maintain a strict, long-term regimen, the muscles will resume their normal motion, which can stress newly implanted hairs.

Hair growth may be affected. Even with relaxed muscles, the skin in this area is thinner and more prone to tension from movement, which can still compromise graft survival.

Long-term feasibility. Committing to lifetime Botox just to support hair grafting can be effective for some patients, but it’s a significant commitment and requires careful planning with your surgeon.

In practice, many surgeons focus on strategic placement around the high points of the hairline, avoiding the deepest wrinkles while still improving the overall density and appearance. This can help soften the corners and create a more balanced look without risking graft loss.

So while Botox could theoretically help, it’s not a guaranteed solution, and any attempt to implant into the most dynamic wrinkle lines should be approached cautiously, balancing realistic expectations with safety and longevity of the results.
