How long does redness last after a medium-depth chemical peel?

You seem to be undergoing the expected
post-treatment changes after a 30% TCA peel. As you may know, a medium-depth
chemical peel approaches the dermal layers of the skin. Treated areas
demonstrate redness and swelling after the procedure and typically desquamate
(shed) to reveal new skin in 5-7 days. Unfortunately, redness may last for an
extended period of time. You should continue using recommended moisturizers
with sun protection and avoid excessive sun exposure until your skin becomes
less sensitive. Once your skin re-epithelializes, you should be able to conceal
the residual redness with mineral-based camouflage. Follow up with your facial plastic
surgeon regularly to ensure that your skin is healing properly.

Up to a month but you need to be followed in person by the peeling doc. Also the possibility of hyper pigmentation exists and needs to be treated.
