You had a body part removed. It's going to be painful for awhile, unfortunately. Sleep elevated on a couple of pillows. Alternate Tylenol and Ibuprofen every 3 hours. For example, take Tylenol at 12, Ibuprofen at 3, Tylenol at 6, Ibuprofen at 9, etc. You only want to use an ice pack for the first 24 hours. After that, you want to use moist heat. Put a damp washcloth in the microwave for a few seconds and place on your cheek. If after a week the pain is getting worse, definitely speak with your doctor to make sure there isn't an infection.

I believe that this is in the realm of normal, sorry if that isnt encouraging because I know it is very uncomfortable. Try sleeping on several pillow for comfort. Also I would alternate Tylenol and Motrin as that combination is most effective. 
Lastly, the pictures arent projecting very well, but I would assure that the sinus was not a factor in this, sometimes the involvement of the sinus can make things a bit worse.
