I had tattoo removal on the yellow in my tattoo, It still really red even after 7 week! I put steroid crem but the doctor who performed the removal told me not to. Im desperate !!!!

Thank you for your question. Laser treatment can lead to crusting and formation of scabs around the area treated. A mild bruising may also occur on sensitive skin. These side effects appear within the first few days of treatment and disappear shortly afterwards. You should use a skin healing ointment, such as cortisone cream on the burns to help prevent hyperpigmentation. Please remember it is important to stay out of the sun before and after treatment. Redness after tattoo removal not responding to steroids. I'd stop them at this point. You have a couple options now. Continue with the tattoo removal and work on redness later. Treat the redness with a vascular laser being very careful not to hit the tattoo (because it won't be right pulse width). I suppose a QS laser for the red inks can be run over that area as it is treating the reds in the tattoo.
