Treatment of Burn on Chin from Laser Hair Removal?

Hi, I had a laser treatment for hair removal for face in March'11.Right after the laser I got a boil on my chin and the doctor asked me to apply creams like Fucibet to control it.Now after 3 months of application of Triobloc,Flavo C,Demelan creams to reduce the scar and correct pigmentation, I still have a scar and depression in my chin.Have done skin peel and skin polish but scar is not going.Doc is suggesting to get cosmetic surgery. Will that help? What other options of treatment can I take?

If there are erosions, open sores, then those areas should be avoided because of colonization of normal bacteria.  If there are no open sores, then maintaining eczema treatment with emollients and avoiding hot water and using mild soap is important before and after the laser hair removal.

The depth of penetration of this light energy should  not be deep enough to penetrate the inner tissues of the testicle. It would be prudent for the doctor to check with the company of the laser they use specifically, in terms of your question before proceeding with your treatment....

Many people are not able to commit to an every four or six week interval in between laser hair removal treatments.  Trying to match the treatment with the growing phase of the hair cycle is possibly more academic than clinically required to obtain a satisfactory result in reduction of hair...

It is difficult to determine from the photograph if the pigment is lighter than your normal skin or if the surrounding edges are darker from post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.  Use a sunblock and don't try to get it darker from sun exposure as it can make things worse.  Textbooks...

Effective numbing creams help lessen the pain considerably as does cooling the skin during the treatment and many lasers have cooling tips, either water flow or cryogen spray. General anesthesia and sedation with intravenous anesthesia is not necessary for laser hair removal.
