Is contouring/shaping advisable for buck teeth/overbite? Or would invisalign/metal braces be a better option? (photos)

They will educate you on the different options so you can make the best decision for you. They will take the necessary records to determine the different options for you. Regarding your question, it is difficult to give you the best advice with the photos provided. Although, it looks like you could do Invisalign or braces treatment to straighten your teeth. You can see how you like the results and not do any permanent changes to your teeth. Your smile is very important, but your bite is even more important. Not having a proper bite can cause even more tooth and bone loss.
Clear aligners may be a good alternative for you where you dont need to have fixed metal braces for a long period of time.
