Is it okay to use Retin-A Micro Gel 0.04% with AHA and BHA to lighten acne scars?

I've been using Retin-A Micro Gel 0.04% for the past 2 months however i've noticed my acne scars haven't lightened. I've heard that AHA/BHA work well with lightening acne scars.
