Don't even spend a nanosecond worrying. It is never a problem to wear an aligner too long. Wearing the aligners our of order or not long enough is something you might need to worry about but your "mistake" is no problem at all. You will need to call your doctor's office and let them know that you need to push your next appointment back two weeks because you will still need to wear your next aligner the prescribed two weeks but the only thing you have done is delay your treatment by two weeks.Good luck!
Thank you for posting your question. Wearing an Invisalign aligner too long should not cause any problems. Move on to the next aligner and let your dentist know. Try to keep changing the aligners on time so that you can finish sooner rather then later. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
Hi,This happens very often with Invisalign, please let your dentist evaluate the fit of the tray you just wore. If the tray you are wearing fits good you might be able to continue to your next set. If the tray does not fit good you may have to go back to your previous sets.Dr. Mazaheri
Yes, it is absolutely okay to change your aligner one night earlier as long as you have worn it enough hours for the time you had to and as long as you don't make it to a habit of changing others earlier every time.

Hi Jess, thank you for a wonderful question. Lots of people have this question in their mind but hesitate to ask. We try to put a lingual bonded retainer as a long term retention solution if there are some severe rotation movements corrected or gaps closed in front teeth. To give it extra...
Hi, the attachments are placed on teeth mainly for either extra retention, to correct rotations or to extrude them. If it is only for extra retention, slight chip might not matter. I would still suggest to have it checked with your dentist if you don't know, what it was for for. The broken ...
