Can InMode Evolve Tite/Trim cause burns during or after treatment? (Photo)

I have seen red marks in the past from the Evolve Trim - not the Tite or Tone. Those were very rare and all resolved- it occurred on a patient that was perhaps too thin for the Trim applicator in the particular area employed. Fortunately, the Trim applicators have all been upgraded, and I have not seen those transient red marks since.

After an Evolve treatment it is normal to have some mild warmth to the skin and it may be a little pink. This typically resolves quickly and patients can return to normal activities right away. The photo you submitted appears to be more of a burn. This is not an expected outcome from treatment.

InMode's Evolve is non-invasively used to tighten skin, remove fat and tighten muscle and since heat it is used, it is possible to cause a burn if there are problems with the device's contact on the skin. Usually there can be a little pinkness post-procedure and this does not indicate a burn. Your photo and description do appear to indicate that you have sustained some minor burns. I would apply bacitracin or antibiotic cream to the area and cover with a sterile dressing to help avoid infection since you describe broken skin. Keeping the area covered by preventing air from touching it will keep you more comfortable. Cool compresses are also useful to help relieve discomfort. It is important to see your provider for follow-up to get the best result and to try to avoid any potential scarring. I would avoid any further treatments to this area until the wounds have healed.
