Tight Chest and Poor Posture Due to Breast Augmentation?

With stretching to improve your flexibility in the area, your chest muscles can gradually improve. However, in most cases breast augmentation does not have a negative impact on chest muscles once you've healed. 

If you're implants are very big they might be causing some problems.  However, I would recommend stretching or physical therapy if you're posture is bad and causing you pain.

Unless you are a true power lifter whose goal is to bench press the most weight possible, under the muscle breast augmentation should not alter your ability to workout and look fit.  Good luck.

Literally millions of women have breast implants under the pectoralis muscle. I have never heard that they cause any functional problems with that muscle. If sub muscular placement for whatever reason is improper for you they can be translocated to a sub glandular position.

There have been multiple studies of women with implants in the submuscular position that have shown no change in muscle strength before or after an augmentation.  

Breast implants under the muscle should not cause you to have problems lifting weights once you are healed.

I have placed sub-muscular implants in many weight-lifting/gym fitness women with no problems in their routine.  Breast implants under the muscle should not cause a problem lifting, only have a phenomenon called 'breast animation' or abnormal movement of the implant when you flex your chest muscles.  Tightness could be due to a capsular contraction, however.  I recommend you see a board certified plastic surgeon to assess this.  Also, if you have enough breast tissue, or if you use a form stable (gummy bear) implant, you could change the position of the implant to a sub-glandular (under the breast gland), or sub-fascial (under the muscle covering, but still above the muscle) augmentation.  The following photo is an example of a sub-fascial augmentation.

As you can imagine, online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific information/advice. However, generally speaking, the majority of patients who undergo breast augmentation surgery are able to return to strenuous work and/or exercise without limitations caused by the breast implants.

Well, it is possible but seems not likely. Many of us who do a lot of breast surgery have placed implants in many athletic women, and I have not heard such a complaint after the first six months. 

Muscle tightness occurs to patients without implants, so it would be hard to point to the implants here as the obvious smoking gun. All the best.
