Thermage for Turkey Neck

Thermage provides minimal improvement to the turkey neck area. A different treatment such as Ultherapy or neck liposuction may be more beneficial. Talk to your dermatologist to determine which treatment will be best for you.

Thermage - look at before and after photos

Although Thermage can provide with reasonable skin tightening, it cannot work on excessive loose skin which is usually accomplished through a surgery. Viewing before and after pictures can provide you with reasonable expectations on which procedure may work best for you. I recommend consulting an experienced cosmetic surgeon in your vicinity who can provide you with various options.

Thermage for Turkey Neck

Thermage is an excellent laser for skin tightening, especially for the lower part of the face and neck.  If you have excessive skin in the neck area then a surgical neck lift will give you better results.  However, if you wish to avoid surgery and do not want any down-time, Thermage is a great alternative for you.  The radio frequency heats up the skin and builds new collagen to rejuvenate your skin.  Please find a board certified dermatologist with a great deal of experience in Thermage for the best results.

Thermage for a "turkey neck"

Thermage, Ulthera, Exilis and other similar machines are energy based devices that employ radiofrequency or ultrasonic waves to heat the deeper layers of the skin resulting in skin "tightening".  These devices are reasonably effective, especially in persons who are not too heavy and in the 40-60 age range.  There is an 85-90% patient satisfaction with the improvement.  There is no down time and rarely any complications so it is much safer and less time consuming than surgery, but they do not offer a face or neck lift result.

Thermage for turkey neck

It is important to understand that Thermage does not replace a neck lift procedure. If surgery is not an option for you, then I believe that Thermage is the next best thing. You can look through some of the before and after photos from the doctors here with many examples of treatment of turkey neck.
