Is There Any Treatment for Burst Capillaries/red Veins Under the Eye? (photo)

Question

I have a number of small red spots/veins under my eye and I am wondering if there is any safe, effective treatment to reduce or remove marks in this location? I've seen that laser may not be an option because they're pretty close to my eye, is that true and if so are there any other options? I'll try to attach a photo but I'm not sure it will work, the marks go along the top of my cheekbone and above the tear trough line to the corner of my eye/nose.

There are several different types of lasers that could be used to treat the red veins under your eyes. Personally, I prefer to use a pulsed dye laser for this type of treatment. Eye protection is used during the procedure, so there is not a problem treating that area.

At my practice in sunny Pensacola, Florida I see many patients with similar facial skin concerns. These small red lesions, telangiectasias, are best treated with BBL (Broad Band Light) and the vast majority of my patients have had near complete resolution of this condition following 2-3 treatments spaced 1 month apart. This is a very safe and effective procedure but you must be diligent about wearing a quality sunscreen following treatment or you may have return of the condition with continued sun exposure.
