Liposonix usually takes one treatment and the price or cost is determined by the area to be treated. The most common areas for liposonix treatment include the flanks and mid abdomen.
The cost of Liposonix is usually by area being treated such as abdomen or flanks. Some doctors charge for one area but will give a small price break on the second area (similar to cool sculpting). Also, some take into consideration the size of the area being treated as well. It will definitely by less than surgery and similar to Coolsculpting by Zeltiq.
Liposonix treatments are usually done to one section at a time, say the abdomen and flanks or the outer thighs. Unlike Zeltiq (Coolsculpting) you can do both sides in one session. Please call the office for costs.
Cost of Liposonix depends on the number of squares need to address the area. Depending where you live and how much needs to be done the price may vary from $150-$300 per square.
Liposonix is charged by section treated, and the pricevaries slightly based on your geographic location. On average the price seems to be around$150-250 per treated square and each square is approximately 6cm across. It is similar in price to Coolsculpting, possibly a little cheaper, and a little more versatile as to what areas can beeffectively treated.
As noted below, the costs are related to the size of the areas treated. The Liposonix transducer covers a 6 cm by 6 cm square area. We charge around $130-$150 per treated square. So if you have 10 squares on your abdomen the costs will be around $1300 to $1500. Flanks usually require around 4 squares per flank (8 total to do both flanks). Other physicians charge a base amount, around $1000, then add about $100 per treated square. Each square is treated 3 times at 60 Joules.
We are getting nice results with Liposonix. The cost is comparable to CoolSculpting (which we also do a lot of) and less than the more invasive liposuction. Charge is based on the actual size of the area to be treated. Part of what makes Liposonix so good is that it can be tailored to the exact area in question. You pay just for what needs treating.
As of Dec. 2011, I'm one of the first U.S. centers to offer the Liposonix, the first FDA approved fat melting device (approved Nov 2011 for fat reduction of the abdomen and flanks--it can be used off-label to treat other body parts). It uses high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) to...
Liposonix can be used on the thighs. I have treated patients with unwanted fat in arms, outer and inner thighs, anterior thighs, inner knees, and the abdomen and waist.
Liposonix is a new FDA approved non-surgical and non-invasive procedure for the removal of unwanted fat. It uses high intensity focused ultrasound to permanently remove fat. After the procedure, most patients will notice results in about 3 months. The procedure takes about 1 hour in...
