What is the average price of dental bonding for ONE tooth (a chipped corner)?

I chipped the corner of my front tooth. It is a very small chip, not too noticeable and not painful. I am wondering what the average cost of a dental bonding procedure like this, where all that needs to be fixed is the corner of the tooth, would be. This website says the average price for dental bonding is $825 but I would assume that is for instances where more work is required.

If you're talking about a very small chip in your tooth, I would estimate that it's between $150 and $350, depending on the part of the country that you live in.  I would search for an excellent cosmetic dentist that has a price within this range.  You do not want to find just anybody that will do the job for the lowest price.  That's because bonding on anterior (front) teeth takes more skill and finesse to match the color perfectly and to shape the corner perfectly.      Just remember that a because your chip is on the "biting surface" of your tooth, then it is much more likely to fracture again.  The next time it fractures, the bonding material will likely break off and take more of your tooth with it this time.  My advice is to look into getting a veneer (which is very permanent).  This will strengthen the tooth and help it to resist a future break.  Additionally, veneers are stain resistant, while bonding is very quick to stain.       I hope this helps. Costs can very from office to office when fixing a small chip. What goes into it is the expertise of the dentist, the office location and the expenses needed to run that office.  So in looking around here in New Haven CT you might find $95.00 to $290.00 for a small chip.  If is it more that small in the dentist's eyes, you might pay more.  You can always call around and ask too.  I would go off the websites and see who's Smile Gallery you like. I wish you well...enjoy the process...teeth are great!
