Laser hair removal only works on the superficial layers of the skin.  Unless your implant is on top of the skin there should be no reason you couldn't have this procedure performed. Keep in mind, it will take a series of treatments. Please see an expert.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Laser hair removal can be performed on the face and improve this. Diode, alexandrite and yag lasers work best. It will take a series of treatments to get improvement and some people need treatments to maintain. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

What's the best treatment to get rid of hyperpigmentation after laser hair removal? 1 year post op.

Hyperpigmentation can be improved with a combination of Cosmelan, lasers, Aerolase, microneedling/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Best, Dr. Emer
