Usually it is not the question if a procedure can be done for a patient of a certain age but if the procedure is appropriate for that particular patient. In other words, is that patient a candidate for the treatment. Liposuction and CoolSculpting are not procedures that are replacements for diet and exercise. However, if the primary care provider feels that the person is doing what they can to limit fat intake and the patient is eating a healthy diet and not losing fat despite exercise, then maybe, that patient would be a candidate.
