Should I have resin bonding done? (photos)

Question

My dentist recommends porcelain veneers. I don’t want to shave tooth. I can’t whiten anymore, Dentin showing. Translucent. Cold sensitivity. Fracture lines. Old bonding on canines. I am 38 years old. I also chip bottom teeth easily now. Had to shave them down a bit. Should I do bonding to protect teeth?

Since your teeth are sensitive, you should avoid porcelain veneers that require filing down or preparation of your teeth.  This could create greater sensitivity issues for you.  You have a beautiful smile!  If you want some minor cosmetic changes, resin bonding would be a good treatment choice.  For Your sensitivity, I would recommend Sensodyne Pronamel, which will also keep your teeth white.
