My dentist gave me the go ahead to change tray every 4-5 days. Is this ok? (photo)

Some research says 10 days is adequate for most, I still prefer 14 days as I do not know really, actual time wear vs what the patient tells me.  I use Propel and recommend 7 day wear for similar reasons....I possibly could go to 5 days but I want results and trying to avoid Mid-Course Corrections etc.  I am sure your dentist has a plan and may have made the movements per aligner less than what is normally programmed or has some other reason possibly having to do with your particular situation.  If it is working, then that is the goal!

Hi There,We are love Invisalign here. We have been providers for about 8 years.  We treat easy to very hard cases.  We include the kind of cases like yours where the teeth have to be intruded, moved past each other and then brought back down to correct a cross-bite, like what exists where your smaller side front teeth are (your laterals.)  Since that is a complicated movement, I would not advise to go under a week, I would stay around 10 days. Further you want to be following the trays very closely to make sure those teeth are doing exactly what you want - moving up and past each other. Cross-bite corrections do not have much room for error.  Being this careful - you will have a beautiful smile when you are done!
