Hair loss after face and neck lift, blepharoplasty, and brow lift. Can surgery be causing this? Hair transplant done in 2019

I had a SMAS facelift, necklift, upper/lower blepheroplasty & browlift three weeks ago and am now losing a great deal of hair from the front of my scalp and crown. I had a hair transplant a few years ago (2019) and am worried this is permanent. If I just tug on my hair in these areas, I am left with chuncks of very thin hairs. Is this temporary and how how long will it continue? Is there anything I can do?

Hello! As a woman hair transplant surgeon myself, I can relate tto what you are feeling. I would recommend you have a blood test to check if your hormones and other things are functioning properly. After that, I would think a stem cell therapy session would help your issue. If nothing works,...
I don't think it will have an effect since it is usually absorbed readily into the body. Do you have more details of why you think that? For example, no longer effective due to a flare-up, etc.
Image quality is poor here which limits interpretation. Also we don’t diagnose hair loss based on trichoscopic photos alone. A full history and proper examination is what’s also needed. Be sure to see a hair specialist.
