Why do my implants look so weird when I'm laying down? (Photos)

Thank you for the question and pictures.  It is hard to tell, based on the photographs, whether you are experiencing a breast implant displacement problem. Some general thoughts may be helpful to you:Although some “falling to these sides” of breast implants is quite normal when you lie down, if this occurs “excessively”, it may be a concern to patients.  This phenomenon is called lateral displacement of the breast implant;  it may be of concern from the visual and the discomfort standpoints. Surgical correction is an option.
Generally, the lateral breast implant displacement can be corrected using an internal suture technique, decreasing the size of the pockets and moving the implants toward the midline.    In my practice, I use  a 2 layered suture technique (capsulorraphy) to close off the space laterally (towards the axilla). The use of acellular dermal matrix is an option ( although not usually necessary)  especially if significant implant rippling/palpability is present.

Given your implant size and volume in the photo, it would be normal for them to fall a little to the side when you lay down as the weight of your implants pulls them down. However, if the implants fall to the side too much, then it may require your surgeon's attention. The pockets made for your implants may have been too big, but this may be corrected through minor surgery. Contact your surgeon and seek advice from him directly regarding this concern.

Implants are subject to gravity, and as you lay down, the implants will tend to drift laterally. This normally takes time to occur as the skin will need time to stretch. This is completely normal and will happen with normal breasts as well as an augmentation. 
You should continue to follow up with your doctor to ensure you progress as planned.
