Retin-A under my eyes has made wrinkles worse. Does it get worse before it gets better?

Sometimes Retin-A is too strong for the gentle skin around eyes.  This can cause irritation and excessive dryness to the area.  Try mixing your Retin-A (very small amount) with your eye cream and start once every 3 nights... then move onto every other night, and eventually you will be able to tolerate it nightly.  This may take a while.  Have patience. 

Applying Retin-A underneath the eyes can make your skin sensitive and cause irritation. We do not recommend applying retinol directly underneath your eyes.
