I've been considering getting veneers but my doctor does not advise it because of my root canal, any suggestions? (Photo)

Veneers are absolutely the right treatment option for you. The choice of Materials is always important- And I would say that an experienced cosmetic dentist would easily be able to mask any underlying shade problems. My recommendation would be to STAY AWAY from Zirconia veneers- although they would easily hide any underlying shade, they have the WEAKEST bond strength. Feldspathic porcelain, or Emax will bond much better, and some opaquers can be used to block the dark colors.

Crowns are the best option to restore height and also you will be able to change the shape,size and color,so if you al ready have grind your teeth down,this can be a  good option,but needs to be done by an specialists,this could be the time to restore and make a full mouth makeover
