My nipple is in the wrong place. Any suggestions? (photos)

I have just had my nipple made on my reconstructed Breast. The flap it was made from was from my back. The nipple looks like it is too far to the side. I have measured it from the centre of my chest and it is just over a centimetre more to the side than the other breast. Would there be any reason the surgeon has done this?? Can this be fixed?? I was so looking forward to having the nipple op and having a more normal looking breast. Thank you in advance for any advice

Since it sounds like it was just done, I would give it time for the results to settle.   You look like you have a good result.  Theoretically, since it was a reconstructed nipple without sensation, it would be possible to cut out this nipple and place it in another position down the line if you are still not happy.  But that is something to be discussed with your plastic surgeon after letting the healing process take place and giving adequate time for the results to settle.  All the best.

Looks like you have a good result so far. If you just had this done then I think it is far too early to be measuring the position. I suggest you get it several months for this to settle into position and I think that you will find it will be closer than it is today and The position may not bother you as much.Good luck!
