Why does my skin look darker after microneedling? How long before my skin colour goes back to normal? (photos)

im 32 yr old asian background.did microneedling on my entire abdomen 7 days ago.after the redness subsided,my skin has turned brown.wondering if this is normal and if so when should i expect my skin colour to go back to its normal colour? any serums that might help?or would this need to be lasered off?i did the microneedling myself using dermapen 2mm needle.pls help thank you P.S. the colour looks fairly even from front view but from the side,the difference in colour is very noticeable.
