I just did my nose threadlift almost a month ago, but it looks kinda “thin”. Like my nose bridge is so slim. And what happens when the thread starts to dissolve? It can still last for close to a year right?
Answer: Nose Thread lift and Visibility Dear mb.x,Thank you for your pictures and questions. I agree with you that from the pictures that you have shared, the dorsum does looks "thin" and this may be from the treatment. However, I cannot comment definitively as I do not have the before pictures for comparison. If this concerns you, I suggest that you check back with your doctor who did the procedure. Depending on the technique and depth of placement of the threads, the threads can be quite obvious and visible if it is placed too superficially. The dissolution profile of the threads will depend on the type of materials used. On average, most of the threads last up to a year and they gradually dissolve over time. If you are bothered about the "thiness" or visibility of the threads, you can also use fillers to camouflage the visibility. Fillers typically last 6-9 months. Speak to you doctor and ask for a simulation of how you would look after the treatment. 3D computer simulation software can give you an ideal of how the after results will look like - these are quite commonly available in many practices nowadays.I hope this answers your question. Answer: Nose threadlift Nose threadlifts do appear a bit "thin" initially and then starts to fade away as the threads get absorbed. The results last about a year depending on the material used and number of threads inserted. For a permanent result a surgical rhinoplasty can be considered

Answer: Nose threadlift - what to expect Dear mb.x, You are right. Your nose bridge looks kinda "thin". Without knowing what threads you had, and how many were put, I am unable to accurately comment further. Generally, I would advise waiting at least 3 months for your threads to settle and dissolve. Then your results will look more natural and your nose bridge will be less slim. Only consider your next option of fillers beyond this 3 month mark. I hope this helps. Dr Daniel Chang

Answer: Nose threadlift Dear mb.x, assuming the material of threads use for your nose augmentation is PDO, the material can last up to a year. However the nose augmentation result generally last less than 1 year, typically 6-9 months by an experienced injector. I would suggest touching up your nose with some fillers for more volume, balance and symmetry. Nose augmentation like any other aesthetic procedures should complement the entire face in harmony. Do ask to see before and after pictures of Aesthetic procedures performed by your doctor to get a sense of his/her eye for beauty. Hope this helps! Cheers, Dr David Deng Singapore
