Lumps on my forehead after 1 year 4 months of Ellanse (Photo)

Question

I went for Ellanse in June 2022. The doctor injected 3 syringes on both side of the forehead. It's very lumpy and ugly right after the treatment. The lumps on the right side did not go away after 1 year 4 months. Is the doctor injected too much that caused the lumps?

Ellanse injected in your forehead?  Ellanse is a collagen stimulating injectable.  I am not sure why this was injected in your forehead as this is not a typical area treated for volume enhancement.  In my practice, I use Sculptra and never use it for this purpose.

So sorry to hear that you have developed lumps on the forehead after Ellanse. To better assess the scenario, an in person consultation would be better for diagnosis. It is difficult to comment whether this is caused by the Ellanse or not based on photos
