Lump under eye after Ellanse - 1 year post procedure. What is it and how can I treat it? (Photos)

Procedure was performed 12 months ago for my 50th bday. Swelling started a few days afterwards and reviewed to ensure it was not infected. Tried dissolving in case it was old filler which had migrated to no avail.

Sorry to hear that you developed nodules after Ellanse treatment. The recommended treatment for nodules or granulomas is steroid injection. It may also be worthwhile doing subcision and saline injection to "break up" the Ellanse collecting under the skin. In extreme cases, surgical removal is...
Nodules after ellanse are uncommon, but can be difficult to treat. Injection with corticosteroids and saline may be helpful. Surgical excision would provide a definitive treatment but would leave a scar and is not acceptable for most patients
