Vanquish is FDA-approved for deep tissue heating, and as a result of the specific heating of the fat compartment, results in fat reduction.When skin is heated to around the 42-43 degrees C point, skin tightening may result. The skin following Vanquish treatment is typically pink and warm for a period of minutes to hours. If skin is heated, skin tightening can occur.No study has been completed to evaluate skin tightening with Vanquish. There may be some benefit but no definitive answer is possible at this time without proper evaluation.
