Varicose veins - is it safe for my legs to have them treated?

Hello I had both my Great Saphenous veins treated with EVLA in both my right and left leg 10 years ago when I was 25. I now have new varicose veins and am terrified I have made the wrong choice to have treatment in the first place as at least some of the blood could have passed through the old veins, and now I am worried my legs wont carry me until old age. Would you suggest to get further treatment or just reserve what I have left. The anxiety and fear is giving me insomnia as I worry My legs will not only be unsightly, but will become very ill. I am very fit and active, of good weight, eat well, dont smoke and stay hydrated. However varicose veins run in my family, yet no one else had theirs treated. Please can you advice what is best. Many thanks
