If you have had Sculptra and Juvederm injections, is there a waiting period before having IPL?

IPL is a great treatment for facial rejuvenation. Many doctors perform fillers and laser treatments on the same day. For my patients I recommend waiting a week between treatments because each treatment can result in swelling and the combined effects may be uncomfortable. One should not interfere with the other.  Laser treatments when combined with fillers placed in the dermis or skin can destroy the filler.  IPL targets red or dark pigments in the skin and generally is safe with most fillers.
